When actually scanning something from the copier it threw an error message along with Send Error 80-0000.To remedy this youll have to go into the copiers Security Settings, then SSL Settings.From there youll have to set the encryption level to Middle, as that will emulate TLS 1.2 when youve got SSL enabled.
I also made sure that the sender address (both in System Settings - Image Send Settings - Scan Settings and in the Network Settings ) was the same as the username I used for SMTP auth. The machines are setup to access an email account through SMTP to smtp.office365.com. Over the last two days they have all stopeed scanning to email. And what did I change it to The exact same thing its been for years. When we tried to switch them to Office 365 via settings you describe, we never got them to work properly. After trying several different things we decided to use a local account. If you do get it working, let us know what worked for you and I can try again to go direct to o365.
